Ingredients:

  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 cup Cointreau or Grand Marnier
  • 0.5 cup light agave nectar
  • 0.5 cup chilled filtered water
  • 0.25 cup coarse sea salt
  • 1 tbsp lime zest

Instructions:

  1. Juice your limes until you reach exactly one cup of liquid.
  2. Strain the juice through a fine-mesh sieve to remove excess pulp, ensuring a clear consistency.
  3. In a 64 oz glass pitcher, combine the tequila, fresh lime juice, orange liqueur, agave nectar, and chilled filtered water.
  4. Stir the mixture vigorously with a long-handled spoon for at least 30 seconds to fully integrate the agave nectar.
  5. Prepare glasses by rubbing a lime wedge around the rim and dipping into a mixture of coarse sea salt and lime zest.
  6. Chill the batch for 1 hour.
