Ingredients:
- 1.5 cups warm water (355ml)
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar (12g)
- 2.25 tsp active dry yeast (7g)
- 3.75 cups all-purpose flour (470g)
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil (30ml)
- 1.5 tsp fine sea salt (9g)
- 1 tbsp cornmeal (9g)
Instructions:
- In the bowl of your stand mixer (or a large bowl), whisk the warm water and sugar until dissolved. Sprinkle the yeast over the top and let it sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
- Add the olive oil, salt, and half of the flour. Using the dough hook (or a spoon), mix until combined.
