Ingredients:
- 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 tbsp avocado oil
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
Instructions:
- Pat the steak cubes completely dry using paper towels to ensure a proper sear. Toss the cubes in a bowl with salt, pepper, and avocado oil until evenly coated.
- Heat a cast iron skillet over high heat until the oil shimmers and barely smokes. Add steak tips in a single layer without crowding the pan. Sear for 2-3 minutes without moving them until a deep brown crust forms, then flip and sear for another 2 minutes.
- Reduce heat to medium. Add the butter, minced garlic, and garlic powder. Once the butter foams, continuously spoon the bubbling butter over the steak tips for 60 seconds.
- Remove from heat immediately and garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
