Ingredients:

  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder

Instructions:

  1. Pat the steak cubes completely dry using paper towels to ensure a proper sear. Toss the cubes in a bowl with salt, pepper, and avocado oil until evenly coated.
  2. Heat a cast iron skillet over high heat until the oil shimmers and barely smokes. Add steak tips in a single layer without crowding the pan. Sear for 2-3 minutes without moving them until a deep brown crust forms, then flip and sear for another 2 minutes.
  3. Reduce heat to medium. Add the butter, minced garlic, and garlic powder. Once the butter foams, continuously spoon the bubbling butter over the steak tips for 60 seconds.
  4. Remove from heat immediately and garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
