Ingredients:

  • 2 fl oz Vodka (high-quality, neutral grain spirit)
  • 5 fl oz Pineapple Juice (chilled, unsweetened)
  • 5 fl oz Chambord (Raspberry Liqueur)
  • Ice (enough to fill shaker)
  • Garnish: 3 Fresh Raspberries OR 1 thin Pineapple Wedge

Instructions:

  1. Chill the Glass: Place the empty martini or coupé glass in the freezer for at least 3 minutes, or fill it with ice water while preparing the cocktail.
  2. Add Ice: Fill the cocktail shaker two-thirds of the way full with fresh, dense ice cubes.
  3. Pour the Vodka: Measure and pour 2 fl oz of vodka directly over the ice.
  4. Add Pineapple Juice: Pour in 1.5 fl oz of chilled pineapple juice.
  5. Add Chambord: Measure and pour 0.5 fl oz of the raspberry liqueur last.
  6. Seal and Shake: Secure the lid tightly on the shaker. Shake vigorously and enthusiastically for 15–20 seconds until the outside of the shaker is thoroughly frosted.
  7. Strain: Discard the chilling ice/water from the glass. Double strain the mixture into the chilled glass, ensuring a perfectly smooth, velvet texture.
  8. Garnish and Serve: Thread three fresh raspberries onto a cocktail stick or clip a small pineapple wedge onto the side. Serve immediately.
