Ingredients:
- 2 fl oz Vodka (high-quality, neutral grain spirit)
- 5 fl oz Pineapple Juice (chilled, unsweetened)
- 5 fl oz Chambord (Raspberry Liqueur)
- Ice (enough to fill shaker)
- Garnish: 3 Fresh Raspberries OR 1 thin Pineapple Wedge
Instructions:
- Chill the Glass: Place the empty martini or coupé glass in the freezer for at least 3 minutes, or fill it with ice water while preparing the cocktail.
- Add Ice: Fill the cocktail shaker two-thirds of the way full with fresh, dense ice cubes.
- Pour the Vodka: Measure and pour 2 fl oz of vodka directly over the ice.
- Add Pineapple Juice: Pour in 1.5 fl oz of chilled pineapple juice.
- Add Chambord: Measure and pour 0.5 fl oz of the raspberry liqueur last.
- Seal and Shake: Secure the lid tightly on the shaker. Shake vigorously and enthusiastically for 15–20 seconds until the outside of the shaker is thoroughly frosted.
- Strain: Discard the chilling ice/water from the glass. Double strain the mixture into the chilled glass, ensuring a perfectly smooth, velvet texture.
- Garnish and Serve: Thread three fresh raspberries onto a cocktail stick or clip a small pineapple wedge onto the side. Serve immediately.
