Meet Sable Winscott
Sable Winscott discovered her passion for cooking during college, when a tight budget forced her to get creative in a tiny apartment kitchen. What started as necessity became obsession, leading her to pursue a degree in nutrition science and eventually certification as a registered dietitian. Today, she lives in San Diego with her husband, two young children, and an ever-growing collection of cookbooks that threatens to overtake the living room.
Her cooking style reflects the California lifestyle she loves: fresh produce takes center stage, meals come together quickly for busy weeknights, and there's always room for a little indulgence. Sable believes that "healthy" and "delicious" should never be opposites. Her recipes prove that nourishing your family doesn't mean sacrificing flavor or spending hours in the kitchen.

Sable holds a Master's degree in Nutritional Sciences from UCLA and spent five years working in pediatric nutrition before transitioning to recipe development. Her expertise includes creating allergy-friendly alternatives, building balanced meal plans, and making vegetables appealing to children. She's particularly passionate about teaching parents to cook with confidence and helping families establish healthy eating habits that last a lifetime.
Outside the kitchen, Sable can be found at farmers markets every Saturday morning, hiking coastal trails with her family, or practicing yoga while something simmers on the stove. She believes food should fuel adventures, not create stress.
